One of the initiatives undertaken by the government in making Malaysia a Global Halal Hub is providing the necessary infrastructure to facilitate investments in the Malaysian halal industry. The establishment of Halal Parks is the measure to facilitate the growth of the industry. The Government through HDC is promoting the orderly development of Halal Parks within the country.

There are various opportunities available in the halal parks for investors. These includes industrial land to be purchased and to be leased, ready built factories and tax free incentives for investors in HDC designated halal parks (HALMAS status).
